Curious about how to get started in interprofessional education? This workshop introduces participants to the core concepts, principles, and factors that underpin the design and delivery of interprofessional education and practice activities.
During this workshop, participants will:
- Analyze cases to identifyand elaborate core concepts, principles and factors related to interprofessional education/practice
- Participate in small group discussion to apply the concepts identified to their own experiences and make one suggestion for how to improve interprofessional education in their own environment.
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe the core interprofessional concepts, principles, and factors
- Apply these concepts, principles, and factors to their own work.
This workshop is one in a 12-part series, "Interprofessional Education and Practice" covering fundamental issues in interprofessional education and practice.
