Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
UCSF is committed to, and embraces, diversity in all forms. The Medical Student Education (MSE) team encourages students with disabilities to access all of the resources available to them, including registering with Medical Student Disability Services (MSDS).
To ensure an accessible educational experience, MSE and MSDS work together to provide accommodations and support to students with disabilities. There are two central themes for registering and requesting disability accommodations at UCSF:
- UCSF’s commitment to protecting the privacy of all learners
- That early communication with the relevant course directors and administrators is critical to a successful partnership in arranging accommodations.
Students seeking accommodations or support services at UCSF are required to register with Medical Student Disability Services (MSDS). Please make sure to review the full process for requesting accomodations. A detailed description of the process for housing accommodations can be found on the UCSF Housing website.
