Maggie Coffin, MA

Maggie coordinates the Global Health Pathway programs. Her role is to facilitate the program application process, coordinate global health courses, and evaluate program impact. She also coordinates UCSF's Complex Humanitarian Emergency Training. Maggie holds an MA in International and Comparative Education from Stanford University.

Mylo Schaaf is currently serving as a global health advisor to help UCSF students who are not currently committed to the Global Health Pathway. She assists students in finding international clinical and research opportunities, as well as advising them on health and safety issues.

Christopher C. Stewart, MD

Dr. Chris Stewart is the Director of Inpatient Pediatrics at San Francisco General Hospital and an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UCSF. He received his undergraduate degree in Asian Studies from Yale University, and he went on to get his Master’s Degree in Asian History from Keio University in Japan. Dr. Stewart received his medical degree from Harvard University and then completed his residency training in pediatrics at UCSF.
