Pathway to Discovery in Clinical and Translational Research
In the News
-
Vignesh Arasu and mentor Bonnie Joe, MD, PhD, use new computer tool to reduced unnecessary biopsies for breast cancer.

Goals of the CTR Pathway
The Pathway to Discovery Program in Clinical and Translational Research (CTR) is designed to stimulate passion for discovery and provide training and mentoring that will encourage and allow professional students to conduct innovative clinical and translational research that improves health and relieves suffering.
The MD/Masters of Advanced Studies in CTR
Obtaining an MD degree and Masters in Advanced Studies (MAS) degree in clinical research sequentially would require 6 years of training. To decrease overall time in training, the CTR Pathway offers a combined 5-year MD/MAS degree for select students in the School of Medicine.
