The UCSF School of Medicine has been recognized for its achievements in education by a leading international organization. The school will be presented with the ASPIRE to Excellence in Faculty Development Award in August at the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) 2016 International Conference in Barcelona, Spain. CMS Final Quality Measure Development Plan Includes Key Role for CME May 13, 2016

Reported by www.policymed.com/.  Recently, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published the final Quality Measure Development Plan which is a "strategic framework for [Medicare] clinician quality measurement development to support the new Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and advanced alternative payment models (APMs)" under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA).
