Teaching Opportunities

The Bridges Curriculum: Preparing the 21st Century Physician has teaching opportunities to fit the background and interests of all disciplines - from first-time teachers to expert educators. Options are available if you prefer to teach in a lecture format, facilitate small groups, develop mini-courses, or work with students in a longitudinal mentorship. We are committed to offering faculty development to our teachers and educators on the new concepts introduced in the curriculum to ensure that faculty across our institution are prepared to support these changes in education. Please visit our Faculty Development Resources page for more information.

UCSF is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The educational community is committed to recruit faculty that come from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups in medicine and to increase opportunities for junior faculty to develop their educator skills and explore an education-focused track.
