UCSF is offering a three-day professional development conference for medical educators across the continuum, taking place February 26-28, 2018 in San Francisco, CA.

The course, Developing Medical Educators of the 21st Century, is being developed in partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Kern Institute for The Transformation of Medical Education.

This three-day intensive course is for medical educators from undergraduate and graduate medical education who seek to develop or augment skills in teaching and educational program design. Participants will learn about emerging trends and will develop skills in clinical teaching and curricular innovation design and implementation to address contemporary issues in healthcare.

Flexible programming allows participants to select sessions aligned with their interest and experience level, including topics such as teaching clinical reasoning, creating equitable and inclusive learning environments, designing workplace learning experiences that add value to the health system, creating new models of faculty development, partnering with health systems to advance quality and safety, choosing and using educational technology, coaching for professional identity formation, optimizing assessment, and studying your curricular innovations.
